Triumph of the Will
I had previously never seen any of this until a few classes ago when it was shown. When I watched this film I tried to remove the negative concepts that I associate with Nazi Germany. I try and visualize the state of Germany after World War I and the progression it made as shown in the film. If I had lived in America during The Great Depression and seen this film I would have been inspired by the Nazi system. This film shows the precision and order of their society. I do not know the infrastructural problems that existed at the time but from the film’s perspective Germany appeared to be doing very well. This film was an incredible propaganda device used by Hitler to show the progress and success of his government. Propaganda has been created by mass media and it is a very successful political tool.
