Pseudoindividuality: Above is a picture of an Affliction t-shirt. When I read chapter six and learned this term I thought of this clothing. Last summer I saw one of these shirts in the mall and I picked one up. I had never seen anyone wear one and I thought it was pretty unique. By the end of the summer the fad of wearing clothing with skulls and demon had become so popular that my style became very normal. What I believed started out a novel fashion statement had become the norm.
