What is Glamour? After reading the book and watching the film I learned that good advertisements are only made to create an idea in the consumers mind. In the film we saw the promise of an acne medication. The medicine worked to a degree but it did not cure acne. The advertiser was careful in making the distinction. Glamour ads show the consumer a life that they can have if they buy the product.
